Dr. Muhammad Nouman Khalid holds a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, where he continues to work as a Research Associate. His research focuses on developing climate-resilient crop varieties, including an ongoing project on shattering-tolerant canola (Brassica napus) strains for a changing climate.

Beyond the lab, he founded the Global Association of Plant Scientists (GAPSci), has taught university courses, reviewed for international agricultural research journals, and published over 80 research papers on crop science and sustainable agriculture.

Khalid Farms grew out of that research — an oilseed and nutrition brand built by someone who understands, at a genetic and agronomic level, what actually makes a crop healthy. Not just what’s marketed as healthy.
